Villas-sur-Rive has surpassed government standards on green spaces by 50%; its concern for the environment puts it heads and shoulders above other housing developments. In partnership with Ville de Laval, nearly $3 million was spent on major landscaping work to keep the development “green”. The Promenade des Riverains, a bike path/walking trail that crisscrosses the development and ends at a riverside park complete with marina and belvedere, adds to the residents’ quality of life.
