Villas-sur-Rive, a new residential development incorporating
single-family homes, prestigious homes, townhouses, condominiums,
duplexes, bungalows and, in the near future, residences for people
aged 55 years and older, is one of the largest developments in
Quebec.
The unique, manor-style architecture of Villas-sur-Rive,
with its ever so clean lines, promises to stand the test of time,
taking its inspiration from both the bygone splendour of small
castles, with wrought iron railings around the balconies and
the stone mantles of the entrances, and interior wellbeing with
abundant windows and high ceilings. As for the external finishing,
brick and stone are predominant, giving this warm “neighbourhood” a
prestigious image.
Moreover, to enhance the quality
of life, natural gas is available throughout the site. Residents
can add natural gas appliances to their homes such as a central
heating system, fireplace, clothes dryer, barbecue or kitchen range,
ensuring maximum comfort.
Cadim, a division of the Caisse
de dépôt et placement du Québec (the Caisse),
is partner in this project. In discussing this partnership with
Group LSR in Villas-sur-Rive, Richard Dansereau, President and
Chief Operating Officer, explained: "We chose
to invest in this project with Group LSR primarily because the
project met our investment and portfolio management criteria, and
also because we found Group LSR to have the experience and capacity
required to succeed in a project of this scope. This is not the
first partnership between Group LSR and Cadim. This division of
the Caisse has already participated in several of the Group's projects,
including L'Esplanade de l'Île on Nuns'
Island."
